About
VolleyBaza grew out of a simple frustration: the big sports outlets remember men’s volleyball once every four years, between Olympics, while the Super League, the Nations League, EuroVolley and the transfer windows in between go largely uncovered. We set out to close that gap — to write about this sport as regularly and in as much depth as football outlets write about football.
We’re an independent outlet with no ties to any club, federation or league — financially or editorially. No sponsor or press office reviews our material in advance or can pull a finished interview from publication. That’s a deliberate stance: players should feel comfortable speaking openly, and readers should be able to trust what’s written.
What we do
Our core format is interviews with players, coaches and people inside the sport, plus tournament coverage — from Nations League qualifiers to World Championship finals. Stories go up as they’re ready, usually at least once a week.
We’re on Instagram
The freshest news — lineups, injuries, match results — lands first on our Instagram, and only later, in full, on the site. Follow us there if you don’t want to miss anything.

Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) sets out how VolleyBaza (the “Site”, the “Editorial Team”) handles the personal data of Site users, and applies to all data a user provides through the Site’s contact form. By using the Site, the user confirms they have read and understood this Policy.
1. Data we process
The Editorial Team processes only the data a user enters themselves in the “Contact us” form: name, email address, subject, and message text. The Site does not request any other personal data. The Site has no automatic data-collection tools — no visit counters, ad pixels, or tracking scripts.
2. Purpose of processing
Personal data is processed solely to review a user’s message and to reply to the email address provided. Using this data for mailings, advertising, or any purpose not stated in this Policy is not permitted.
3. Sharing data with third parties
The Editorial Team does not sell, rent out, or otherwise transfer users’ personal data to third parties for advertising, marketing, or other commercial purposes.
4. Cookies
The Site uses two categories of cookies.
Necessary cookies. Used for the Site’s basic operation and don’t require the user’s consent: a cookie that remembers the cookie notice has been seen (stored for 180 days), and a cookie that remembers the chosen interface language (stored for 1 year). These cookies contain no personal data and aren’t used to track user behavior.
Analytics cookies. The Site uses Google Analytics to collect anonymized traffic statistics (visitor counts, pages viewed, referral sources). These cookies are set only after the user clicks “Accept” on the cookie notice; if declined or no choice is made, no analytics cookies are set and no requests are sent to Google’s servers. Data processing within Google Analytics is carried out by Google under its own privacy policy.
Users may change their decision at any time by rejecting cookies in their browser settings, which may limit some of the Site’s features.
5. Data retention period
Personal data received through the contact form is kept for as long as needed to review the message and, if necessary, to continue corresponding with the user. Users may request deletion of their data at any time by writing to press@volleybaza.com.
6. User rights
Users may request information from the Editorial Team about their processed personal data, or request that it be corrected or fully deleted. Such requests should be sent to press@volleybaza.com and will be handled within a reasonable time.
7. Changes to this Policy
The Editorial Team reserves the right to amend this Policy, in particular when introducing new Site tools and features. The current version of the Policy and its last-updated date are published on this page.
8. Contact
For questions about personal data processing or this Policy, write to press@volleybaza.com.

Editorial Policy
This page sets out the principles VolleyBaza’s editorial team follows when preparing its coverage — from interviews to tournament analysis. We publish it so readers know what to expect when they open any of our stories.
Independence
The Editorial Team has no ties — financial or organizational — to any club, federation, league, or player agency. Text isn’t cleared in advance with press offices or the people it covers, except as described below under “Right of reply.”
Sources
Interviews are built on the subject’s own words, checked back with them before publication where needed. Statistics, rosters, match results, and tournament calendars come from official sources — federation, league, and club websites — or from our own observation. When open sources disagree, we say so in the text rather than arbitrarily picking one version.
Rumors and unconfirmed information — transfer talk above all — are published only when clearly labeled as a rumor, and are never presented as fact.
Right of reply
If a story includes a critical assessment of a specific person or organization, the Editorial Team offers them a chance to comment before publication. Declining to comment, or not responding within a reasonable time, does not hold up publication, but is noted in the text.
Corrections
If a factual error is found after publication, we correct it and note the date and nature of the correction under the story. Substantial errors — wrong facts or a misquote, not typos — are corrected regardless of how long ago the piece ran. Report an error to press@volleybaza.com.
Why there are no individual bylines
Stories are published under the shared byline “VolleyBaza Editorial Team” rather than an individual author’s name — a deliberate choice under which the Editorial Team as a whole is accountable for what’s published. It doesn’t affect fact-checking or the right of reply described above: those apply equally to every story.
Advertising and partnerships
The Site currently carries no advertising and has no paid partnerships. If that changes, any paid or sponsored material will be clearly labeled as such next to the text itself, not only in the page footer.
Citing VolleyBaza
You may quote our stories, including interview excerpts, and refer to them in your own coverage. Please name the source as “Source: VolleyBaza” and link to the specific article, not to the home page. Keep quotations short, do not republish a story in full, and do not present our interviews as your own. To republish a full text, write to press@volleybaza.com first.
This applies to text only. The photos on the Site are not ours: they belong to the sources credited under each image and may not be copied without the consent of those rights holders.
The photos on the Site are not ours. Every photo carries a credit to its source, for example “© Volleyball World” or “Photo courtesy of CEV / www.cev.eu”, and is used unedited and for editorial purposes only. If you are a rights holder or photographer and want a credit corrected, a photo replaced or a photo removed, write to press@volleybaza.com with the page address and we will respond promptly.
